Check it out - Under 13s get in for free! 09/05/2011

It's almost worth bringing the children with you for prices like that.... Plus plus plus, if you buy an Adult or a Family Weekend ticket before the 15th of June you get the advance ticket price. We have just finished setting up online ticket sales for the fest this year. It's PayPal based but should accept sales with most plastic, either debit or credit. The online system looks pretty self explanatory but if you have any problems get in touch here. The Facebook badge image has been changed to something more fest'y, take a look over there, thanks Terry ...... Working hard in the sun this afternoon on all things Exile, Paul is just making the tea, there is a half empty tin of custard creams on the table and music drifting languidly over the hedge - go buy your tickets you know it makes sense. Fresh from visiting the Exile Festival site today to discuss parking and beer tents we have some teasing pictures showing the Main Marquee and camping areas. These can only begin to give some idea of the quite beautiful nature of the new site and the wake up view. Don't forget that a ticket bought now saves you money and ensures a place at the Exile Fest. Remember to keep in touch either with the RSS Feed or via Facebook. Enjoy! Belper Exile at Sabine Hay & Line-up changes 14/03/2011
We have finally been granted our event license for the upcoming festival and so can finally reveal the new location for the Belper Exile Music Festival... Sabine Hay, off Oldfield Lane, near Darley Dale, Derbyshire DE4 2LN. Belper Exile Festival will now be located at Sabine Hay just outside Darley Dale deep in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside where we will be able to offer a far greener and cosier festival experience than before. We have more than ample space for the Main Stage Marquee, secondary marquee, stalls, workshops and camping and have a most excellent line-up for the 2011 show. In music news, the awesomely famous local heroes who are Loscoe State Opera (LSO) are returning to the festival. LSO replace the previously advertised New Rope String Band for the Exile Sunday Chill Out. LSO will be supplying punch, power and panache for a fantastic closing set on the exciting new Sabine Hay site. We are looking forward to seeing you at the new site. Bring a tent for sure this year to take in the full Belper Exile Music Festival experience. Download a Ticket Order Form here. Keep in touch by subscribing to the RSS feed at the top of the page or following us on Facebook. Those of you local to Belper must have been reading about the Belper Music Festival ongoing-need-a-new-site saga... Well worry no more - Here are the three most important bits of information you need to know about the Belper Music Festival this year: We have a great new site It's totally excellent It's not in Belper Lots of beer and idea wrangling meant that we ended up with a shortlist of around 8 possible new sites. They all had advantages and disadvantages, some of which proved too big a hurdle when we talked to their owners and some of which became immediately obvious with a quick site visit. Questions Should it be in town, out of town, have better loos, more camping space and less rugby balls, more music and less likelihood of flooding - no stone was left unturned in our search for a new, bigger and much better location to hold the eighth Belper Music Festival. And a fourth important bit of information Having chosen the winner we had to come to terms with the fact that it isn't in Belper - so we have changed the name to Belper Exile Fest. Until the new Belper Exile Fest site is all signed and sealed, sometime within the very next few days, we can't even hint at its location but we know you'll just love it. (P.S. It's somewhere on this treasure map.) As soon as we are able we'll post news and directions as the come in. Thanks for being so patient. Stay tuned. Keep in touch by clicking the RSS feed button up there somewhere, top right. Latest news of the complete 2011 lineup. 12/01/2011
